Monopod system (Model: F-100S) is used in those special situations which will not allow the use of the Tripod, Quadpod or fixed Davit systems. Each Monopod system is composed of a Monopod, 3-Way fall arrest device with lowering and retrieval capabilities and a Personnel or Material Winch. Using a suitable and testing overhead anchor point in the existing structure, one capable of supporting 5,400 lbs, the upper end of the Monopod is locked in place. Once the feet of the Monopod are firmly set, the worker can descend into the confined space, assured of fall protection and recovery in the event of an emergency. The Monopod is tested to support a static load of 5,400 lbs.

3-way Fall Arrest and Recovery Unit Model 2005. Multifunctional fall arrest/retrieval device protects a worker from falling and has integral winch mechanism that allows a worker to be raised or lowered to safety quickly and easily.
